Phillip died in a helicopter crash, he was flying home after watching Chelsea’s Champions League
semi-final at Liverpool.
he leaves wife Judith, and a daughter, Natalya.
Phillip's 17 year old son Andrew, friend Jonathan Waller, 42, and pilot Stephen Holdich, 49,
also died in the crash.
I was fortunate to meet Phil on a couple of occasions; I found him a genuine, down to earth friendly guy who was interested in what you had to say. He radiated his passion for the growth and success of not only the group but of our customers and learners too. The most fitting tribute to Phil is to continue his vision and make us the best in the business. Rest In Peace x x
Sincere Wishes
I cannot imagine how it feels to lose half of your family so suddenly, and offer my sincere sympathy to Judith and Natalya.
Deeply saddened
I have been with Carter and Carter for four and a half years. Even though I had not worked closely with Phil, during these years he was both an inspirational and an aspirational leader. Without him, I would not be filling the role I have now.
A small part of my, and my colleagues worlds now sits empty, leaving a large gap in Carter and Carter.
My thoughts are with Judith and Natalya, and my sorrow for their loss
A sad and tragic loss
I only met Phil once, just before Christmas when he spoke about the take over of NTP.
I was totally committed to his
My thoughts & prayers go out to Judith, Natalya & the Carter family at this sad, sad time.
I have worked for C&C since early 2003 & can say without reservation that Phil was an inspirational leader and his passion for driving C&C to ever greater things was clear for all to see.
My wife & i had the pleasure of meeting Phil recently in Paris for the star performers weekend in September of last year & i can state without hesitation that Phil was not only an inspirational employer but also a man of genuine warmth & kindness. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A great loss...........
I was shocked and saddened as this tragic news unfurled, the loss of any one person is a tragedy to his family and friends but in Phil’s case to the world at large; a gentleman at all times who had so much more to offer.
May Judith and Natalya find comfort in the times to come; this world is but a passing moment for he is never lost when held closely to our hearts.
I saw him on TV some years ago and thought her was a man who was motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic. He will be a sad loss to his family and work colleagues. My thoughts are with those who knew,my prayers for those who loved him. Bright Blessings in this time of sorrow.

Inspirational is a word that seems to be most connected with Phil and it is hard to think of a more fitting tribute. Phil was always courteous and friendly, always said hello and remembered names. A respected businessman, family man and Chelsea fan. I will miss seeing him around at Ruddington and hearing his speeches at company events. God Bless x
Very Sorry
I met Phil on a few occasions at work events and was impressed not only with his professional success, but also with what a decent, kind human being he was. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
